KIRKLAND, Wash. – The new, aerodynamic Kenworth T700 is now in full production at the Kenworth Truck Company manufacturing plant in Chillicothe, Ohio.

“We’re seeing positive demand for the T700 and expect it to increase as customers purchase fuel-efficient, aerodynamic trucks as their business and the economy strengthens,” said Marilyn Santangelo, Kenworth assistant general manager for operations. Last month Kenworth received an order for 500 T700s from Stevens Transport in Dallas.
The new Kenworth T700 has the lowest aerodynamic drag of any Kenworth truck in company history and earned Environmental Protection Agency SmartWaySM program certification. The T700, which targets over the road and team driver operations, offers a spacious wide-cab and 75-inch AERODYNE® sleeper with soaring 8-foot cathedral ceiling, best in class forward lighting, and excellent serviceability. The new truck provides low operating cost and high productivity, outstanding driver comfort, advanced technology, and excellent resale value.
The T700 may be ordered with either the 12.9-liter PACCAR MX engine or 15-liter Cummins ISX15 engine.
